The topic I settled on for my thesis is Delusional stalkers. This hasn't really changed sense my first post but I have gained a much deeper understanding of the issue through research. I wanted to understand what brings people to the point of stalking and how it affects both parties.

I sketched many different ideas and iterations for my topic. I was having a very difficult time figuring out how to create an interesting image and composition while not making it cliche. The images go in order of oldest to newest.
My final pieces will be the newest sketch but on two large canvases. The majority of the pieces will be painted with oil paint with the exception being the bold, bright colors that will be painted with acrylic.
The biggest problem I am having with the pieces as they are is the bodies. I want them to look more realistic and less stiff. The best way to deal with this is using reference images, which means I would have to take photographs of people in the poses that my characters are in.
That's about it. Peace <3

I like that throughout your sketches you have strayed away form the "person in the eye" to more dynamic poses and compositions that illustrate the concept better. My favorite compositions are the last sketches, I fell making the photos and flowers get bigger as they get closer to the sides of the piece could help frame it better as well. I also like the use of color in the right sketch, it helps give off the sense of delusion. With stiffness, I just recommend doing figure drawings daily, play with lines and not being afraid to exaggerate proportions when doodling can help loosen up, but of course reference pictures are always helpful (especially when you take them yourself !). I…
I already discussed your project sketches with you earlier today, so this will just reiterate that a bit. Overall, I think your topic of choice is very interesting and relevant to issues found today, especially because of the growing culture online and with social media. Your final two images have the best composition, and I am glad you have decided to incorporate the pixel distortion we discussed. It fits really well with your concept as well as the composition and motifs used in that particular panel. I also think that your idea with using the oil paint for more realistic elements and acrylic paint for idealistic elements is really smart and will have a great effect on the final work.…
I find your topic of choice to be very interesting and unique, considering that it is something that I have not personally seen a lot of coverage for through art. I think that your composition sketches are very strong, and capture the meaning behind your piece well without giving away too much. I personally really liked in the second sketches images, the one with the dude holding the eyeball with multiple square images of the celebrity flashing behind him. I feel that that sketch has a very strong composition to it and I would really hate to see you abandon that idea. Maybe you could combine elements of your previous sketches into your finalized ones so that there is more…
